How to increase App Storage on Android
First of all Do all things at your own risks.....I will not responsible for damage or bricked phone......
Required tems:-)
1:) HKPHONE ROM EDITOR APP [Link given below]
2:) Rooted Device [Essential ]
3:) Kitkat Based ROM installed in your device
4:) Only Mediatek Chipset Android Device
5:) Custom Recovery
Procedure :-)
1) Place KK based ROM in your sd card
2) Download and open HKPHONE ROM EDITOR app from link given below and grant root permissions
3) Now it will show your Phone's Mediatek Chipset Model name, Now click on it and it will open an new page
4) Now it will show all about your Phone's memory details
5) Now select storage size whatever you want and apply.[It will take few sec.]
6) Now it will ask you to reboot to recovery. Cancel it and go manually by powering off your device then pressing and holding vol+ and power button at the same time.
7) Now wipe Data,Cache,Davlik Cache,Internal.
Now it will show you
Can't Mount Data
Can't Mount Cache
etc......etc
etc......etc
Just Ignore it.
8) Now install KK based ROM
9) After installation of ROM go to settings and check storage info....
10) Now Rocks.....You had finally increased app storage.
Points to be noted :-)
1) You must be on KK based ROM and also flash a KK based ROM.
2) If your phone storage is 1.5 GB and internal storage is 1 GB than select 2 GB storage in step 5 [ Don't select more than 2 GB]
3) Use TWRP recovery [ Used by me ]
4) Transfer your data to another storage because when we clear internal data will be lost.
5) Share this posr if it works for you.
6) If you face mount error while doing anything in the recovery then select "cache" and then touch on repair and than change file system (fs) to ext_4 and then reboot.
